Hello girl world!

Hi everyone! (and by everyone I mean the zero people who know about this blog.) For those who know me, it’s common knowledge that I am prone to hasty decision-making and quick bursts of fascination with unsustainable ideas. While I’ve proven to be a little flighty and indecisive in the past, this idea is one that I’m committed to sticking with. So what is this idea you ask?

After years of dealing with my own insecurities and perceived shortcomings, I finally woke up to the realization that being me is pretty awesome. Luckily, I figured this out while I still had time on my side and got the opportunity to embrace my life while it was still mine to live. Unfortunately, some girls aren’t as lucky to be held up by a support system like mine who made coming back to the sunny side of the road a much shorter trip. I never would have reached that point had I been left to my own devices and I hope someday to be the supporter that shows a girl what she has to offer to the world before she finds herself in the dark.

This blog will be the detailing of my effort to start something truly wonderful and inspiring. I hope, in time, I’ll be able to look back on this post as the beginning of something amazing–so keep following my posts to find out
