OK, so I haven’t been neglecting GutsyGirl–just the blog part of it. I’ve actually been working hard lately on getting my ideas together for my business plan (which I’m going over with the Women’s Small Biz Assocation) next month. Yikes!
I’ve finally started to iron out some of the details about how I want the company to run, which was a much needed step in the process, of course. I know that I want my organization to work collaboratively with the schools that these girls attend because, in my opinion, there’s hardly a more valuable thing to learn in school than self confidence. I would also like some kind of tie in with the high schools so that students there can help mentor younger kids which would increase their own self confidence and inspire a younger generation. Any ideas? I’m open to em!
My designer friend is working on a logo for me, so I’m eagerly awaiting that. I’ve also almost got my application for the Graduate Community Mental Health Program at SNHU wrapped up, so that will be exciting to get in the mail!
More updates soon!

M,
I had an additional thought for you. If you’re still wavering on the graduate program and thinking about business school (or anything else) and considering putting off grad school for a bit, what about a web design class / certification?
I took one at duke and it was so, so helpful. I’m thinking of taking another one this summer if I can find the time! (HEY if I’m in Boston maybe we could take one together!)
thinking of you!
